Restore Vision partner KOL hosts Olisens symposium at SFO Congress

Restore Vision’s partners KÔL Laboratories, participated in the 13oth Congress of the French Society of Ophthalmology, held at the Palais des Congrès in Paris from May 6 to 8, 2024.

During the congress, KÔL hosted a symposium titled “New Treatments for Corneal Neovessels: Initial Feedback and Expert Opinions,” which attracted 120 attendees, including 62 international participants.

The symposium featured an overview of physiopathology of neovessels Prof. Eric Gabison while Prof. Vincent Daien discussed the current treatments available. A significant portion of the discussion focused on Olisens® as a novel or combination treatment with Prof. Béatrice Cochener describing  its mechanism of action.

Prof. Louis Hoffart presented an analysis of the first 120 patients treated with Olisens®, and individual clinical cases were described by Prof. Marc Labetoulle, Prof. Jean-Louis Bourges, Prof. Vincent Daien, and Prof. Béatrice Cochener.

The symposium highlighted the promising results of clinical trials with Olisens®, a new drug currently being investigated in the Restore Vision project for the treatment of rare eye diseases.
