Ivana Kildsgaard
Member of the Board of Aniridia Europe, Chairwoman of Aniridia Sweden
Ivana is a mother of a teenager with sporadic aniridia. Since his birth, she has been engaged in the aniridia community, working to initiate new research and spread knowledge about aniridia and related diseases. In 2010, she was one of the founding members of Aniridia Sweden, a member-based non-profit and non-governmental organization for individuals with aniridia and related diagnoses. Since 2014, she has served as the chairwoman of the organization.
In 2016, Ivana became actively involved in Aniridia Europe as a Member of the Board. Besides her role in the RESTORE VISION project, Ivana participates in ANIRIDIA-NET COST action #CA18116, a pan-European network funded by the European COST program, and Aniridia – novel therapeutic tools to treat or prevent progressive corneal opacification (AAK-INSIGHT), a European funded research project.
Professionally, Ivana is an architect and engineer, and she works as the Director of Sustainability and Quality at an architectural office in Sweden.
